Free Print Of Sisters
5x7in
6x10in
Not many people know the story behind this watercolor. I was in the darkest point of my life, and my sister was in a similar situation. As Navajo women, we battle with depression and alcoholism with a mix of ptsd. We were struggling to keep our heads above the surface and by some chance our love for one another was able to keep us alive. It saved me from a depression that cut my arms and nearly left me to bleed out. That year* My cousin @missy.shandiin was getting married, and I wanted to tell her that during this difficult time to remember the sisters love that is a light in complete darkness and to hold on to her and don’t let each other slip into the darkness. @adeezhi @radishmitts1965
As a gift for anyone that is interested, I would love to send a free print for you to share with your sister and remind her that you will hold on and help carry her no matter how grim the situation might be. Only Through tender love can you forgive and heal.
Printed in house in Provo, Utah. Printed on artists favorite thrifted paper. Ships flat in a cellophane sleeve.
Please write how many prints you would need for all your sisters, no matter if they are blood related or not. Spread the sisterhood love.
Each print is finished when I hand watercolor the final details to make them unique and mimic the original more closely. Turning each print into a one of a kind piece of art. Because of this there will be slight variations.
